Synthesized, tested and characterized RAFT agents and pH sensitive polymers to be attached to Gd nanoparticles for use as contrast agents in MRIs for cancerous tumor detection.
PREP Research Fellow at National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) (2012-2014)
Reviewed submitted manuscripts from four major thermodynamic science journals. Data was compared to previous data stored in the NIST database using Guided Data Capture (GDC) and Thermo Data Engine (TDE). Older data from scientific journals was reviewed to reassess previously captured data in order to keep the NIST database up to date.
